A single Ardleigh Elliott Heirloom Porcelain music box, titled ‘Believe,’ identified as the Premiere Issue in the ‘Enchanted Dreams’ collection. The piece is copyright dated 2003. The music box is designed in the form of a large open lotus or lily flower, rendered in pale pink with pearlescent highlights. Decoration includes applied white enamel scrollwork on the petals and cylindrical base. The music box rests on three ornate gold-toned feet. The center features a rotating figurine of a fairy with glittered wings, framed by a delicate egg-shaped structure topped by a gold-toned bird finial. The gold foil label affixed to the underside confirms the title and collection name, and notes that it plays the melody of “Beautiful Dreamer.” The label is marked with the handwritten serial number A381.
