An antique Albert watch chain constructed of curb links, consistent with market examples identified as Gold-Filled. The chain features a T-bar closure and two distinct dangling attachments. The first attachment is a bronze good luck token. The obverse displays a crowned harp motif surrounded by the legend ÉIRE SAORSTÁT ÉIREANN (Irish Free State). The reverse features a horseshoe design framed by flowers and the inscription GOOD LUCK TYE WHER’ER YE BE, AT HOME, ABROAD OR ON THE SEA. The second attachment is a circular enameled medallion commemorating the 1927 National Cross Country Championship held at Crewe. The blue enamel border is inscribed CHAMPIONSHIP CREWE 1927 NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY, surrounding a central polychrome shield crest bearing the motto NEVER BEHIND.
