A Swatch Irony Chrono wristwatch, model reference YCS429, known commercially as the ‘Dark Phoenix.’ The watch features a round metallic silver-tone case housing a black dial. The dial displays white Arabic numeral hour markers (with 12, 3, and 9 being dominant) and white hands, with a date aperture located between the 4 and 5 o’clock positions. The chronograph function is managed by three white-ringed subdials, tracking 9 minutes, seconds, and tenths of a second. The bezel incorporates a printed tachymeter scale marked up to 500 km/h. The dial is marked ‘swatch SWISS’ centrally and includes the copyright inscription ‘© SWATCH AG 2000’ near the 6 o’clock position. It is fitted with a distressed brown leather strap secured by a buckle closure.
