Two items of jewelry executed in the Celtic Revival style, featuring intricate interlace knotwork motifs. The lot includes a large circular brooch, approximately three inches in diameter, decorated with a complex triple-knot motif executed in high relief, reminiscent of a shield boss. The reverse of the circular brooch is secured by a horizontal safety clasp pin finding attached via three rivets. The second item is a smaller stylized axe-shaped lapel pin or tie tack. The handle and head of the axe are detailed with continuous knotwork, a style frequently associated with Viking or Highlander themes in market listings. The axe pin is secured by a post and separate retainer bar finding. Both pieces are fabricated from a silvery-tone metal alloy.
