Another Great Auction 29th January
A collection of three stamp albums featuring a substantial philatelic assembly of international postage stamps. The lot includes one brown Stanley Gibbons International stamp album with gold-stamped graphics and two red vinyl-covered binders, one of which is titled Stamp Album. The collection comprises multiple pages of diverse worldwide stamps, with significant sections dedicated to Turkey, Venezuela, Canada, Australia, Bulgaria, and the Kathiri State of Seiyun (South Arabia). The stamps depict a wide array of subjects including historical portraits of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and Simon Bolivar, landscapes, flora, fauna, and commemorative themes such as the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and the 1976 Montreal Olympics. The items are a mixture of used examples with visible postal cancellations and mint specimens, many mounted on grid-printed album pages.
