An Underwood No. 5 standard manual typewriter featuring a front-strike design. The machine is constructed with a black-finished cast iron frame and a four-row QWERTY keyboard with glass-top keys. The Underwood name is present on the paper table and the front chassis. This model includes a wide carriage assembly with an integrated numerical scale. A partial red and white dealer label is affixed to the left side of the paper table.
