An antique Underwood manual typewriter featuring a black-finished metal frame. The machine is identified by the gold-tone Underwood brand name and decorative crest logo prominently displayed on the paper table, with the brand name repeated on the front frame above the keyboard. It is equipped with a standard QWERTY keyboard consisting of circular, metal-rimmed keys with character inserts, including a visible shift key. A graduated scale with green numbering is positioned across the carriage assembly. The typewriter utilizes a front-strike design with an exposed typebar basket and carriage mechanism.
