Another Great Auction 29th January
A trio of Royal Worcester fine porcelain plates from the Christmas Day series featuring illustrations by Sue Scullard. The scenes depicted include a family gathered around a Christmas tree by a fireplace, Father Christmas visiting a nursery, and figures carrying gifts through a snowy village street. Each plate is finished with an ornate, patterned border in shades of red or light blue, accented with gold-toned scrollwork and a gilded rim. The items are accompanied by original Royal Worcester Christmas Plate literature and are housed in their original blue presentation boxes.
