Another Great Auction 29th January
A collection of four Spode fine bone china limited edition commemorative plates produced for the 200th Anniversary of the Creation of Fine Bone China. The lot includes two round plates featuring reticulated and pierced borders with central floral and fruit motifs, specifically designs F1889 and F1893. Also included are two octagonal plates decorated with landscape scenes of traditional bottle kilns and finished with gilded geometric borders. Each piece is boxed with certificates of authenticity signed by the managing director and issued from Stoke-on-Trent. The certificates indicate edition numbers 0114, 0116, 0268, and 0355. The octagonal plates are part of a limited edition of 200, while the round pierced plates are from an edition of 2000.
