A modern decorative globe bar cabinet, executed in the style of an Italian Renaissance Old World globe. The item features a spherical globe mounted on a light cream or off-white painted wooden stand with turned legs, a three-legged pedestal base, and a lower circular shelf for bottle storage. The globe sphere is decorated with a stylized antique map featuring cartographic details, sailing ships, and inscriptions such as “MAR DEL NORTE” (Sea of the North). The top hemisphere of the globe functions as a hinged lid, opening to reveal an interior storage cavity for barware. The interior surface of the lid is decorated with a large-scale allegorical or mythological print depicting classical figures among clouds and waves. The structure is completed by a partial meridian arc and a decorative finial at the north pole. This item is consistent with widely available contemporary reproductions.
