This framed historical commemorative print dates to the Third Reich era, circa 1939, and features a portrait of Adolf Hitler. The print contains a German quote attributed to Hitler: Man bettelt nicht um sein Recht! Für sein Recht streitet man! which translates to One does not beg for one’s right! One fights for one’s right! The text also commemorates his 50th birthday for the Volksbund für das Deutschtum im Ausland or Association for Germanhood Abroad and mentions the Volksdeutsches Kameradschaftsopfer der deutschen Jugend. The piece is presented in a red mat within a black frame that features a silver-toned beaded inner border, measuring 13 x 19 inches.
