A mid-20th-century English art pottery vase produced by Brentleigh Ware in the Salcombe pattern. The ceramic vessel features an ovoid body tapering to a flared neck and rim. The exterior is finished in a matte, pale sage green speckled glaze, decorated with a stylized floral motif consisting of a prominent yellow blossom and secondary orange-spotted buds set among gray foliage. The underside of the base is impressed with the marks BRENTLEIGH WARE, SALCOMBE, and MADE IN ENGLAND, and also bears a handwritten numeral 23.
