A Robert Harrop Designs diorama titled The Bash Street Kids 50th Anniversary 1954-2004, from The Beano, Dandy Collection. The piece is crafted from painted resin and depicts multiple characters from the comic strip within a classroom setting. The scene includes period-style wooden desks situated on a plank-effect floor. The desks feature various carved and written inscriptions including I love the Beano, SMIFFY is daft, and CUTHBERT’S TEACHERS PET. The base includes a copyright mark for D.C. Thomson and Co. Ltd. dated 2004. The underside bears a commemorative label identifying the item as a first edition, numbered 1016 of a limited run of 1500.
