Another Great Auction 29th January
A Robert Harrop hand-painted resin figurine of the character Jonah from the Classic Beano Dandy Collection. The stylized caricature depicts the sailor in a blue and white uniform with a yellow neckerchief and a white sailor cap, shown in a saluting gesture. The figure stands on a circular, sand-textured base featuring a small molded starfish. The edge of the gray base is embossed with BEANO DANDY. The underside is finished with a red felt pad and retains its original identification sticker, marked CBD13 JONAH and copyrighted D.C. Thomson and Co Ltd 2002.
