Another Great Auction 29th January
A contemporary figurative sculpture titled Naslir – Little Shepherd from the Soul Journeys Maasai collection, designed by artist Stacy Bayne. The piece depicts a seated Maasai child huddled with a young animal. The construction consists of cold-cast resin with a bronze-toned finish applied to the skin and animal fur, contrasted by a draped garment finished in textured matte blue and dark charcoal tones. A manufacturer sticker on the base identifies the work as a 2003 design by Stacy Bayne, licensed to Soul Journeys Limited.
