Another Great Auction 29th January
A trio of scale model steam locomotives with tenders, each mounted on a black display plinth and housed in original clear plastic blister packaging. The collection includes a 1936 LNER J39 0-6-0 locomotive, No. 1856, in black livery; a 1942 LMS 8F 2-8-0 locomotive, No. 8142 (cab side marked 8233), in black livery; and a 1946 GWR 4-6-0 County of Glamorgan locomotive, No. 1014, in green livery. Each model is constructed with die-cast and plastic components, featuring authentic markings for the London and North Eastern Railway, London, Midland and Scottish Railway, and Great Western Railway. The packaging features retail barcodes and indicates these were part of a fortnightly series.
