Another Great Auction 29th January
A set of scale aircraft models and accessories by Atlas Editions, commemorating the Battle of Britain 1940. The collection includes two die-cast and plastic model aircraft: a Supermarine Spitfire Mk I and a Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4, both finished in period-accurate camouflage patterns with corresponding military insignia. The set includes two black triangular display bases with white printed text identifying each aircraft. Also present is a small oval medallion and a printed color illustration titled Tally Ho! by Mark Littlejohn, Battle of Britain, September 1940, depicting an aerial combat scene. The components are housed in their original polystyrene protective inserts within a cardboard box.
