A collection of contemporary Egyptian themed porcelain tableware from the Wonders of the Nile series by Compton and Woodhouse, dated 1995. The group includes several mugs and matching coasters or small plates featuring vibrant depictions of Ancient Egyptian iconography. Designs include the mask of Tutankhamun, Queen Nefertiti, the Sphinx, and various deities, accented with heavy gilt detailing and ornate gold-tone handles. Markings on the underside identify the collection title, specific design names such as The Golden Mask of Tutankhamun, the manufacturer Compton and Woodhouse, and the production year 1995.
