Another Great Auction 12th February
A circular Cornish pewter pocket snuff box manufactured by James Dixon and Sons. The lid features a molded relief scene of a hunter on horseback with a hound. The side of the container is engraved with the inscription DURHAM REGIMENT. The base is marked with MADE IN ENGLAND, the reference number L1455 / 2, and a series of pseudo-hallmarks including a standalone letter U.
