Another Great Auction 12th February
A collection of various commemorative coins, medals, and tokens struck in various base metals and alloys. The group includes Duckhams 1899-1977 Specialists in Lubrication commemorative medals. Also present is a Centenary of the Horse Tram one-crown coin and a year 2000 Maui No Ka Oi token featuring a dolphin. International coinage includes a 1964 Zambia five-shillings coin commemorating President Kenneth Kaunda and a 1993 10 ECU De Nederlanden coin from Maastricht housed in a plastic case. The assortment also contains a brass-toned coin depicting an elephant and a perforated metal disc featuring a relief bust of a bearded figure, likely William Shakespeare.
