Another Great Auction 12th February
A collection of United Kingdom and Bailiwick of Guernsey cupro-nickel fifty pence coins. The assortment includes several 1973 commemorative issues marking the United Kingdom accession to the European Economic Community, designed with a ring of nine clasped hands. The collection also contains 1970 New Pence coins featuring the seated figure of Britannia. Included is a Bailiwick of Guernsey coin featuring the seal of the island with the inscription S’ BALLIVIE INSVLE DE GERNEREVE. All coins feature the second portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
