This oval portrait miniature brooch depicts a profile of St. Fabiola with auburn hair, executed in the style of Jean-Jacques Henner. The hand-painted miniature is set under a protective cover and housed within an 800 silver filigree frame. The frame features ornate scrollwork and small spherical accents. The reverse of the brooch is fitted with a pin-back mechanism and is stamped with an 800 hallmark, denoting silver purity.
