A figural pincushion in the form of a child’s bust, constructed from matte, unglazed bisque ceramic. The figure features a simplified facial expression and is depicted wearing a garment with a molded cross-hatch or quilted pattern. The crown of the head is open and contains an inset cushion made of vibrant blue fibrous wool or felt material. The base is integrated into the shoulder area of the bust.
