Another Great Auction 12th February
A mid-20th century musical carousel cigarette and lipstick dispenser produced by Selcol Products Ltd. The item is constructed from cream-colored molded plastic with an octagonal base and top. The central revolving mechanism features several hinged doors that open to reveal holders, each decorated with a dark-toned filigree and fleur-de-lis motif that matches the top. The underside is embossed with Made in Selcol England and retains a Reuge musical movement sticker identifying the tune as The Blue Danube. It includes a metal winding key marked REUGE.
