Another Great Auction 12th February
A vintage hand-painted chalkware statuette depicting the Holy Family, likely of Italian origin. The grouping features Mary in a blue cloak, Joseph in a brown robe holding a flowering staff, and the Christ Child standing centrally holding a large cross. The figures are set upon a textured green base mounted on a stepped gray pedestal. An impressed numerical marking 267 is visible on the rear edge of the base. The piece is constructed from cast plaster with a polychrome finish.
