A carved wooden figure of a seated Taoist dignitary or deity, likely originating from the Qing Dynasty. The figure is depicted with a red-painted face and simplified black facial features, wearing a traditional pointed hat. The ornate robes are embellished with raised, gilded scrolling cloud motifs, with remnants of green and black pigment visible throughout the garment. The figure holds a single natural feather in the right hand and is integrated with a rectangular wooden base. The underside of the base bears indistinct black ink markings and characters, including the letters IK.
