A pair of silver-toned metal commemorative shooting prize beakers. The first beaker features a plain, polished exterior with an engraved inscription reading, THE BLACK HORSE SHOOTING CLUB. 21ST ANNUAL MEETING REVOLVER TEAM MATCH WON BY SERGT. H. PHILLIPS. The second beaker is decorated with chased floral and foliate patterns surrounding a central shield-shaped cartouche inscribed, THE BLACK HORSE SHOOTING CLUB 1ST SQUADRON TEAM MATCH SGT. H. PHILLIPS. These items are associated with the Middlesex Yeomanry, historically known as The Black Horse.
