This lot consists of two medals. The first is a bronze-toned athletic medallion. The obverse features a relief of two relay runners with the text RELAY RACE. The reverse is inscribed RSME 1963 4 x 440 RELAY and displays the crest of the Royal Engineers. This medal is housed in a red presentation box with a velvet-lined interior. The second item is a United States Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal struck in bronze-colored metal. The obverse depicts an eagle perched on a shield within a laurel wreath. The medal is suspended from a multi-colored striped ribbon featuring light blue, white, blue, yellow, and red bands.
