Another Great Auction 12th February
A pair of sterling silver napkin rings manufactured by Henry Griffiths and Sons (H.G&S). Each ring is designed with a D-shaped profile and features engine-turned basket-weave decoration. A rectangular cartouche is positioned on each ring, with the examples engraved with the numbers 3 and 4 respectively. The items are struck with English hallmarks for London, including the leopard’s head, the lion passant for sterling silver, and a date letter. The maker’s mark H.G&S and the stamp MADE IN ENGLAND are also present.
