A decorative figurine depicting a young monk in a reclining pose, crafted from a cast metal alloy with a dark patinated finish and gilt accents. The figure is portrayed in a meditative state with eyes closed, holding a large string of prayer beads. The robes are embellished with ornate gilt-colored borders featuring scrolling geometric patterns and circular emblems on the chest and knees, accented with small floral motifs. The piece lacks visible maker’s marks or signatures.
