A cast metal figurine depicting a standing Laughing Buddha, also known as Hotei, in a traditional pose with arms raised overhead and a jubilant expression. The piece is finished in a silver-toned alloy with dark patination in the recessed areas to highlight the sculptural details. A single incised character, 天, meaning Heaven, is present on the lower reverse. The figurine is solid cast with a flat base.
