A collection of British royal commemorative medals, ribbons, and badges dating from the late 19th to mid-20th centuries. The group includes a 1935 George V and Queen Mary Silver Jubilee medal in aluminum by Thomas Fattorini of Birmingham, a 1911 George V Coronation medal in pewter by L. Chr. Lauer of Nuremberg, and a 1937 George VI and Elizabeth Coronation medal for the Darlaston Urban District Council in gilded metal plated bronze. The collection also contains a 1937 Edward VIII proposed coronation medal in white metal (tin-lead) featuring two dots under the th in the inscription, and an 1897 Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee medal. Materials include aluminum, pewter, gilded bronze, and white metal. Several pieces are fitted with original tricolor fabric ribbons and metal pin bars, including a 1911 George V Coronation medal with a City of Coventry ribbon bar. Each item is individually stored in a protective plastic sleeve with a descriptive handwritten slip.
