Another Great Auction 12th February
A collection of 15 vintage paper promotional booklets titled The Pint Size Guinness Book of Records. These items were issued as promotional ephemera, as indicated by the text on the front covers stating FREE WITH A PINT OF DRAUGHT GUINNESS OR A BOTTLE OF GUINNESS. The booklets feature various humorous cartoon-style cover illustrations corresponding to different themes. The group includes multiple numbered issues such as No. 1 (It’s a Woman’s World), No. 6 (Close Encounters with the Animal Kind), No. 7 (A Fishy Tale), No. 14 (Flight into the Past), No. 15 (It’s a Mad Mad Mad World), and No. 16 (What’s Up Doc?). Each booklet is constructed of stapled paper wraps with multi-color printed covers.
