Another Great Auction 12th February
This mantel clock by the Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. features an oak case with a gabled top and three turned finials. The case is constructed with a tiered rectangular base and includes a decorative cast metal lion’s head mask on the side. The circular dial is designed with a cream-colored chapter ring, stylized Arabic numerals, and a textured gold-toned center with dual winding arbors. The reverse side contains a hinged door that opens to a mechanical movement with a spiral gong coil. A pendulum is included with the lot.
