A vintage cast brass figural doorstop depicting a uniformed postman in mid-stride beside a wooden fence, accompanied by a small dog. The scene includes a gate in the foreground embossed with the text BEWARE OF THE DOG. The piece features a textured, cast surface with a uniform gold-tone patina and a flat base designed for utilitarian use. The doorstop measures 6 x 7 inches and shows a vintage patina consistent with age.
