Another Great Auction 12th February
An H. Samuel mantel clock featuring a dark redwood-finished wooden case with an arched top and a decorative metal swing handle. The ornate brass-tone dial plate is decorated with etched floral and scrollwork motifs and includes a chapter ring with black Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes. The dial face is marked H. SAMUEL and MADE IN GERMANY, and it features a circular Tempus Fugit medallion in the upper left corner. The clock is set on a molded wooden base of a contrasting lighter finish.
