A collection of mid-20th century cigarette card albums and loose trade cards, primarily issued by W.D. & H.O. Wills and John Player & Sons. The group includes various themed albums such as The Kings and Queens of England (1066-1935), Wild Flowers, Film Stars (Second and Third Series), Radio Celebrities, National Flags and Arms, Modern Naval Craft, Birds & Their Young, and Sea Fishes. Also included are multiple loose cards presented in clear plastic collector sleeves, featuring subjects such as animals, dog breeds, and military decorations. The albums are constructed of paper and cardstock with printed illustrations and text. Several albums bear the handwritten name Gwen Dickinson on the covers.
