Another Great Auction 12th February
This vintage wooden ratchet noise maker is a folk-style piece featuring a red and white striped painted finish. Constructed from wood with metal screw and nail fasteners, the object consists of a main frame containing two toothed gears that strike flexible wooden slats to create sound when rotated by its turned wooden handle. Indistinct dark markings are visible on one side of the frame, though they are no longer legible.
