Another Great Auction 12th February
An antique copper and brass tea kettle manufactured by William Soutter and Sons of Birmingham. The vessel features a bulbous copper body with a dark, aged patina and a brass goose-neck spout. The fitted brass lid is surmounted by a turned wooden acorn-style finial. An overhead brass swing handle is attached to the body with riveted mounts and features a central turned wooden grip. A small adhesive inventory label numbered 3835 is present on the shoulder of the kettle.
