Another Great Auction 12th February
This 19th-century box is constructed from a polished hardwood. The box features a rectangular form measuring 12 inches by 9 inches with a slanted, hinged lid and is decorated with an ornate brass scrollwork escutcheon at the keyhole. The interior houses a removable, tiered wooden tray painted red with multiple compartments of various sizes. Beneath the tray, the bottom surface is lined with a green and white floral-patterned paper.
