A Seth Thomas mantel clock featuring an architectural case with an adamantine faux-marble finish. The rectangular black case is accented with green faux-marble panels and four decorative columns with gilt-tone capitals and bases. The circular brass-tone dial displays Arabic numerals on raised roundels and includes two winding holes for the mechanical movement. Decorative elements include cast metal lion-head side handles, ornate scroll feet, and gilded filigree detailing on the front and base. A rear circular aperture reveals the internal mechanical movement consisting of brass plates, gears, and mainsprings.
