Another Great Auction 12th February
An assortment of ceramic wares featuring pieces from the Portmeirion Botanic Garden collection, including a large serving bowl decorated with Passiflora (Blue Passion Flower) and a cylindrical vessel featuring Viola tricolor (Pansy) illustrations. The group includes a commemorative The Millennium 2000 AD collector plate with celestial imagery and a Roman numeral clock-face motif. Also present are white ceramic canisters with stylized green floral patterns and wooden lids, labeled for Coffee and Tea. The collection is completed by a lidded German-style ceramic beer stein with a relief-molded tavern scene and metal hardware, and a smaller Irish souvenir tankard depicting Blarney Castle and the O Connell Monument.
