Another Great Auction 12th February
A collection of British royal commemorative ceramics and glassware, primarily from the mid-to-late 20th century. The group includes various porcelain and bone china mugs, teacups, and saucers, many of which commemorate the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and her 1953 Coronation. These items feature transfer-printed portraits and gilded accents. Also present are several footed glass tankards, some etched with the ER II royal cypher and coronation details. The collection further includes two hand-decorated Royal Doulton bone china figurines: Wendy (HN 2109, copyright 1952) and Julie (HN 2995, dated 1984). Visible markings include Royal Doulton backstamps on the figurines and various maker marks on the commemorative pieces.
