Another Great Auction 12th February
A pair of mid-20th century commercial signage kits manufactured by Display Electrics Ltd. of London. Each kit is housed in a large, rectangular red-covered case with a printed paper label on the lid. The labels identify the contents as a 3-D Electrical Sign Kit with a Patent Pending notice and the manufacturer address at 4 and 6 Earl Street, London, E.C.2. The interiors are fitted with cardboard dividers containing an assortment of translucent plastic characters. One set features blue characters and the other features red characters. The collection includes uppercase letters, numerals, and various symbols including currency signs and punctuation.
