Another Great Auction 12th February
An assortment of decorative ceramic and porcelain items featuring a Carlton Ware Vert Royale vase in green with a ribbed body and gold-toned rim. The collection includes a three-piece gold-toned tea service comprising a teapot, lidded sugar bowl, and creamer, each decorated with white grape and vine motifs. Also present are miniature teapots, including an angular cream-colored vessel with polychrome floral decoration and a blue square-form lidded vessel with scenic transfer-ware, consistent with Porcelain Art miniature collections. Further items include a large rectangular platter with molded asparagus-form handles, a whimsical elephant-form piggy bank with floral patterns, and a pedestal cake stand displaying a bird and floral design. The group is completed by a small dish with a donkey illustration, a perforated flower frog with leaf decoration, and various small bowls. The Carlton Ware vase is marked on the base with Carlton Ware Handpainted Made in England Trade Mark Vert Royale.
