Another Great Auction 12th February
A collection of metal candlesticks featuring two distinct styles. One group is crafted from yellow metal, likely brass, featuring traditional baluster-turned stems resting on square, stepped bases with flared candle nozzles. The other group consists of dark-patinated metal, possibly cast iron or bronze, displaying a neo-classical aesthetic with fluted columnar shafts, integral wide drip pans, and circular bases embellished with molded decorative borders including rosettes and gadrooning. The tallest examples in the collection reach a height of 10 inches. No maker marks are visible.
