Another Great Auction 12th February
A group of vintage die-cast metal toy vehicles manufactured in England by Dinky Toys (Meccano Ltd). The collection includes several UFO Interceptor spacecraft, model number 351, based on the television series UFO. These models are finished in metallic green paint with plastic landing gear in orange and red variants. The Interceptors feature transparent cockpit canopies and rear-mounted engine nozzles. One vehicle retains a partial SHADO insignia decal on the fuselage. The lot also contains an Eagle Transporter from the series Space: 1999, featuring a metallic green body with a white central section and a cream-colored plastic lattice frame. Undersides are embossed with manufacturer markings including DINKY TOYS UFO INTERCEPTOR 351 MADE IN ENGLAND and DINKY EAGLE MECCANO LTD MADE IN ENGLAND.
