Another Great Auction 12th February
An Edwardian sterling silver-mounted circular trinket box featuring a pierced floral repousse mount along the perimeter of the lid and base. The body of the box is fabric-covered, with a textured gray surface on the lid. The interior is lined with royal blue velvet. The silver mount bears British hallmarks including the maker mark F.B.S LTD for Friedlander, Benjamin and Sons Ltd, the Sheffield assay anchor, the lion passant for sterling silver fineness, and the date letter m for the year 1904.
