Another Great Auction 12th February
Two vintage ceramic novelty vanity items. The first is a heart-shaped trinket box lid constructed of white glazed ceramic featuring a raised beaded border and a central graphic of a seated Pierrot clown in a traditional white costume with blue and red accents. Web intelligence indicates this motif is consistent with 1980s retro collectible sets. The second item is a figural shaving brush with a glazed porcelain handle modeled in the form of a stylized dog, possibly a Boston Terrier, featuring large orange and black eyes and a painted green collar. The handle is fitted with natural-tone bristles held by a black band.
