Another Great Auction 12th February
A Royal Doulton hand-painted bone china figurine titled Victoria, model HN 2471. This piece was modeled by Peggy Davies and is dated 1972. The figure depicts a seated woman with blonde hair in an updo, wearing a pink bodice with a wide white collar and a voluminous magenta skirt decorated with an all-over white floral and green bud pattern. She is shown holding an open white fan with yellow highlights. The underside of the piece bears the official Royal Doulton backstamp, including the model name, number, designer name, and copyright date. It also features hand-painted initials ED and a partial paper inspection sticker.
